German high-speed trains were a particularly enjoyable experience. I could rest in between busy days by listening to music and watching the European countryside zoom by. While I worried that I was trying to fit too many destinations into a short trip, the journeys themselves were a delight. In fact, every train and bus I took on my entire trip was on time.Īt this point, I was really starting to enjoy the flight-free travel feeling.
